What's "rude/disrespectful" about asking a girl out in front of her friends? Life isn't like elementary school, where you have to invite everybody to your birthday party.

Unless they're some really catty bitches, they want their friend to find a great guy. If you come across as that great guy, they'll actually cheer you on.

Sexuality/dating isn't something you need to hide or be ashamed of. You can and should be out in the open about it.

You ask the group out. If I'm talking to a group and it doesn't feel right to isolate my target, then I'll ask them all for their facebooks or numbers and pass around my phone. I might say something "It was great talking to you guys, let me give you my phone so you can enter your facebooks and we'll do this again sometime." (I might inject some humor based on the conversational topics that came up)

Then, everyone feels included, so you can invite the group out, or if you feel like you had enough chemistry with your target, go direct and ask her out on facebook/text the next day.
