Let me present two scenarios that occurred when I was with a girl (two separate girls) on a date, please let me know if these actions were congruent with my goals of not putting up with bullshit but not being pouty/passive agressive:

  1. We are at a nightclub dancing, things were already pretty hot and heavy, I was push-pulling going from tamer to raunchier etc, and suddenly some guy she knew appeared a little ways away when we were dancing a little tamer and she saw him and stopped dancing with me to go talk to him. I responded by going to the bathroom without saying telling her that. The second time it happened with a different guy I went to a different part of the club and got a drink at the bar, and after 5-10 min I texted her saying I was over there, she came running over, apologized, I changed the subject.

  2. I was hanging out on a dock on a lake with this chick and a guy she knew walks by and starts talking to him, after I determine that this conversation was going to be more than a passing one I got up from lying on the dock, walked to the end and went swimming for a fair bit. When I returned the guy was gone and she was sitting there alone and apologized. I just changed the subject.

Should I have been more forceful? Less? These were both first encounters of the tinder kind
