So I have been attending some social meet ups which are designed for people who are new to a country or city to meet new people and make new friends etc. They are usually held at bars or pubs which in the midweek are pretty quiet and Saturdays which are obviously busier all around

The problem I am finding lately is the ratio of women to men is very low! maybe 20-30% maximum which leads to situations where girls will be on their own surrounded by 3 or 4 geeky un attractive guys treating her like a princess lol.

How is it possible to isolate a girl in this situation where everyone is there to meet new people?

I guess previously I have been concerned with being polite to these random guys but I'm seriously considering a different plan of attack and being more ruthless and giving less of a fuck
