Just about anything you say is fine. Unless you say something outrageous like "i bet you like things in your butt" you're fine. Hell you may even say that and shell be into butt stuff.

If a girls gonna respond they will. I usually would say "hey i saw you on here and honestly just thought you were cute so i went for it. If you're down we can get to know each other and maybe go out sometime"

Has worked on 6/7 girls so far.

Honestly I gotta disagree with the advice that's been given. Don't chat her on facebook. Talk to her in person. At the very least if you do message her on fb be direct and don't just say hi.

A compliment and then ask her 3 questions. Third question should be for either her number or to hang out. I recently have had some success with this. Of course I'm not perfect and can only give you antidotal evidence but keep it short and sweet. If she doesn't respond or says no then her loss and move on.
