Fresh out of College? Simply enjoy having a lady who can make more than you: more so if she likes to buy you stuff.

As long as you don't make it an issue, it wouldn't be. Now, if you were only making 30K and you where into your 30's, that's a more of an issue. But you're currently all potential right now. I assume you're not planning only making that amount of the rest of your life, so you're fine.

Just site back and enjoy the ride.

Ive traditionally made more than the partners in my dating relationships. The only time it's been an issue is when he just couldn't let it go. Constantly talking about it, making snide comments, letting the insecurities surface over and over and over - THAT'S what kills things.

Statistically, it's a risk factor. From memory, it increases the risk of divorce by about 40%, so you can assume a similar figure for other LTRs.

Statistically, when the wife makes 60% of the household income (outearning her husband by 50%), divorce is an 80% probability.

If the man is not alpha (enough), and she is earning more than he is, what does she need him for? Certainly not for beta provisioning, she's got that part down herself.

If you're not out-earning your wife, you'd better be pretty damn alpha.
