The semester is about to end. For some reason, I want to get to know this one girl who looks lonely in two of my classes in college.
But the thing is, I haven't finished being the greatest version of myself and loving myself.
I have started my journey months ago ever since I broke up January 2016.
I told myself that in order to improve, I need to make myself into the best I could be, I will start working out again and read some books on self improvement that I've heard about over the years.
I haven't finished Models by Mark Manson, How To Win Friends and Influence People, No More Mr. Nice Guy, The Way of the Superior Man and Feeling Good which is a cognitive therapy book for when I get depressed.
I started working out after the break up then I quit working out a while ago for school (my program is very rigorous with promising job prospects). I quit my job too. I drifted away from my friends for school and it's hard to admit that I actually don't have a social life anymore in which I spend the weekends studying to get ahead or just relaxing with Netflix and video games too exhausted for anything else. I'm near the end of the semester and I feel like getting crazy.
I might even have to drop some courses and that's been putting me down since I spent so much effort, time, thousands of dollars just to get it all wasted because of inefficient studying, and yet I gave up so much of myself for nothing. I have to admit that I've been feeling depressed lately, and some days I wish to cuddle with someone and have someone to go out with.
But part of me keeps telling myself that if I don't go for her, it makes me think what if? What if she was something like this?

The universe owes me nothing, but I had countless rejections all my life after all the girls I went for, but then what if it was something like that video? What if "she's a lonely sweetheart who wishes so much that a guy would ask her out. She hates feeling so alone and would do anything to make a guy happy." (https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/zrsfd/this_is_why_you_should_say_hi_incredible_short/)
I am determined to get a career first, and that's why I sacrificed so much for college, but maybe I sacrificed too much without having a balanced life. I dealt with oneitis countless times before, I am just thinking that maybe years down the road I might kick myself for not going for her. Even the sidebar of this subreddit says that loneliness, bad self esteem, and poor health can impact your game in dramatic ways. I am aware of that and I might give off some bad vibes which makes me hesitant.
I will probably never see this girl ever again once everything is finished and I feel like I should just go for it despite not being the strongest version of myself yet.
What would you guys do to improve my situation and if you were me? Would you go for her in the middle of trying to improve yourself?
