You didn't develop proper familiarity and intimacy with her. Dating is a game, but don't keep playing it as a game once you get to know her. A girl wants to feel comfortable and relaxed with a guy. She doesn't want a Pickup Artist. The other possibility is you are the "other guy". In that case well there's not a lot you can do.
