I saw this post somewhere before on the original "No M'aam" blog, regarding that there are actually several definitions of males.

the two definitions that stood out to me, where both.

Alpha: Strong leaders who have principles and are the creators of civilisation essentially, have the pick of high value women, but usually have one high value woman who beats the others away with a stick.

Omega: Has alpha traits but generally is very anti social and before the time of technology and big cities, he would be dismissed and probably killed, for sleeping with the butchers wife and his neighbours daughter. The type I am talking about here are pick up artists and gang bangers.

Im coming from a pragmatic stance here, I know there are no longer any rules. And if you don't wish to abide by principles and codes of conducts in Western civilisation, I am not going to blame you; hell if anything you will be punished for it.

However is there a distinction between the asshole and the Alpha ? I see a lot of guys who do demonstrate alpha characteristics, but on the whole they will never achieve alot. They will stay in the same bars, impregnating the same sluts. Their existence would be incompatible with a highly civilised culture.

In a weird way I see game and pick up artistry a lot like hacking. Much like a woman putting on make up and a push up bra, there is a lot of imitation of these desired traits. However these desired traits for men are essential for the civilisation. Merely enacting them out for a few hours, to pull some sloshers, has its short term benefits. But in the wider scheme of things, this will rarely produce high valued men and offspring.

As i said before I am talking pragmatically here, for a lot of average guys to learn game, would be good enough. As its the start on a long path to learning about your own nature, but in the long run these what passes as alpha. The Pick up artist or the gang bang rapper, is actually completely useless in a genuine economy, or in the real world for that matter.
