i think you misinterpreted what she's saying, she's not saying you should control her but you should take control of the situation. you need to take responsibility whilst she just passively enjoys whatever is going on.

for example, always make decisions and be instant with them

pizza or pasta? "pizza" gold or silver? "silver" movie 1 or 2? "2"

you should practice never leaving her to make decisions, 9/10 times you'll just get "umm idk what do you want to do?" from her anyway.
