This happened to me last night I'm normally cool and composed but this actually pissed me off. I'll refer to the girl I'm interested in as Alice and her friend as Tina. I'm chatting up Alice a bit and I get her number and throughout the night I'd walk over to her to chat some more. We are at a karaoke bar and she plans to perform a song but doesn't want to tell me what is is. She says just to wait and see I'm look cool.

This is the first part where I start getting annoyed with her friend. Tina asked her what song she is planning to perform and Alice says she can't tell her since I'm here. Tina looks directly me in the eyes and tells me bye. I look back at her like wtf I laughed it off and she tells me bye once again. I'm like fuck it it's not a big deal so I leave. I may have messed up her and should have asserted dominance but wasn't trying to go off on her friend.

Later that night I'm talking to Alice again and her friend Tina is giving me this shady glance. I look over at her and ask what exactly is with that look? She replies I could be really mean right now but I won't. Once again I'm like wtf and tell her I can take it so feel free to say what you got to say. She looks away but then I start talking to Alice again. At this point I'm a little bit annoyed and whatever chemistry there was seems to be gone at least on my end. We had the awkward silence then look away.

I still texted her at the end of the night and she replied she was mad short though. I'm not going to text her again plenty of other girls out here but curious on how you all would have handled this situation.
