A lot of people seem to trace their awareness of pickup back to "The Game", so add Neil Strauss to that list. By now those techniques are considered outdated, but it's still the basic introduction and where it started.

But a lot of guys have problems that are well described in "No More Mr Nice Guy". I suspect that book has helped train a lot of people to be better at seduction. So without caring about Robert Glover's record in pickup, maybe his contribution to getting the "NiceGuy" to overcome their own obstacles deserves mention as well.

And I'd end the list with only 3 entries with Mark Manson for his book "Models", which strives to align pickup with what someone feels inside.

If you don't go with authors & books, it's really hard to verify the impact someone has had. That's why all 3 of my entries are authors, and I'm using the impact of their books as the measuring stick.

RsdMax, Gambler, Mystery, Liam McRae and James Marshal imo.

They are the ones who are actually calibrated and not creepy puas. I wouldn't even call them puas, because their focus is a lot on self improvement and not so much on picking up chicks.

First, it's not clear why this matters.

Second, nobody can answer this because nobody knows much ass those guys actually get. They may be lying. I really believe that many really prominent PUA guys really don't pull much. That doesn't make their advice worthless, but they may be lying.

Third, those guys could be getting laid because they are good looking.
