A man should never beg a woman. You don't need to "convince" of her anything. You've made it clear that you want to date her: it's her choices whether she takes it or not. Your attitude towards the age difference should be "I don't think it's weird, so neither should you." End of story and don't talk about it after that.

Date her. What do you have to lose? If she questions how young you are with something like "Aren't you a bit young?" or even "I think you're too young" respond with something like "Oh don't be too harsh on yourself, you don't look that old" or "Yeah, maybe you won't be able to keep up".

Your age difference is like months, not years.

My first long term girlfriend was 18 years older than me. A recent girlfriend was 15 years younger than me.
