It's context dependent.

Is she biting her lip, staring into your eyes, and saying "Well...... my friends are leaving, so I had better go........." or does she already have her jacket half on and one foot out the door?

In the former situation she's looking for an excuse to stay (and you should provide one), in the latter she's not interested and she's breaking off the interaction.
