I am 90% sure im going to sign up to this (they will record the session for us and we can access up to 1 week after) at least to support these discussions and im interested in this. Therapy clearly is designed for a personality type not therapy molding itself to fit different personalities.

Women are about 95% of therapists and 80% of psychology Bachelor degree graduates. It is going to become more and more female centered. And male clients/patients in psychology are assessed by activists imo, where his depression/anxiety is his male privilege backfiring or his internalized toxic masculinity, sexism, racism, homophobia is creating problems for him. This is why the APA and afaik British Psychological Society (BPS) are concerned.

To me psychology has turned into nothing more than a professional degree in tiktok memes. In general once white women in their 20s dominate something, critical thinking deteriorates and ideologies flourish, this is what I mean by tiktok views. it's young women bringing their bizarre social media views into professional fields. (My opinion of course!) It's operating under a purely ideologically driven subset of the population: (e.g. feminist/BLM/Trans etc.) Whereas the training is all done through a lens of "oppressor vs oppressed" narrative and the psychologists/therapists are activists and everything is a male-negative approach.

It might seem arrogant of me being a Science graduate, not a SocialSci grad, but it seems major Psychology depts themselves are becoming concerned....
