All according to plan!

only the cases most likely to result in conviction being sent to court -> only x% of rape cases end up going to court!
the bar is lowered and more cases are sent -> only x% of rape cases sent to court end in a conviction!

This is the end result of #believewomen and the presumption of guilt. This (manipulating or withholding evidence) is not new and it will not be stopping any time soon...

There have been several cases where women have been harassing men for sex by text. Then, whether rejected, or the sex wasn't good enough, they make an allegation of 'rape'. It is very, very, difficult to get those mobile phone records into the courtroom. All procedures and guidance are to protect the anonymous plaintiff. Nothing in place to defend the rights of the accused, already publicly named and shamed before any trial can even take place.

Needless to say, these phones often 'go missing', or there are 'difficulties' in extracting the phone records.

This year, in Scotland, the 'Not Proven' verdict, unique to that country, was removed, with the intent of increasing the 'successful' conviction of more men for rape. Such a definition of 'successful' implies that all men are guilty. The definition should be a concurrence between the jury decision and the evidence presented. It isn't easy to get evidence favouring the accused into the courtroom!!

As if the present bias weren't bad enough, Scotland is about to remove juries from rape trials, which are now to be tried by 'trauma-informed' judges.

Whenever women are in a position of power (which is certainly the case in Scotland, in matters of jurisprudence), they organise to their own advantage.
