Admittedly I'm a late bloomer. TLDR: overbearing mother led me to difficult relationships where I lost respect of partner and became unhappy.
I've recently started to read Models and have found the advice within great.
At present I'm on dating apps before eventually getting back into approaching in person as I prefer this. - I'd like to ask advice of those of you more experienced than I.
Girl #1 - Gorgeous blonde. We match on tinder, there's some back and forth and then she sends a message stating the fact I'm less than a mile away and that I should come to her flat, after she checks out my Instagram. I missed the message (which she unsent) but mentioned it anyway.
I arrange a date Friday eve and at the last minute she goes all flaky saying we haven't spoken much etc. I had date with girl #2 planned for the day after anyway so didn't mind.. I just told her that's cool. Meet if you want if not no big deal..
We meet, have a few drinks and laughs, it's ON.. back to hers. 10mins on her sofa and we're kissing then bedroom. She told me she loved the way I handled her being flaky..
Its obviously not a long term/serious thing but i enjoyed myself and she's sexy, so wouldn't mind continuing on casual basis. She texts day after saying 'i had a great time, I think you're great'
I reciprocate, then say I'm away for a week but let's do a fun little day trip when I'm back. She says ok initially but then sent (and unsent) a message saying 'if I'm honest I don't think we will see each other again.' before I read it (saw in the notifications)
She's obviously quite flaky/not serious but I don't expect anything to come from it, I'd like more fun though.. I haven't messaged again since being away hiking in the mountains, but she's watching all my stories on insta.
What would you do here?
Girl #2 - Great date, lots of chemistry, smart and could potentially be partner material (lots of similar interests and I'm very attracted to her) I didn't escalate on the date as it was daytime and didn't seem like the vibe.. I invited her to go dancing and she seemed keen. That's where I'll move things forward.
We have been messaging back and forth a bit while away, then I told her we can do something fun when I'm back. She says yes please, then tells me she has a spare ticket to a gig and am I free on that date - however she says she'll ask her friend and her flatmate first?
Doesn't feel great being last option, even if it's not intended that way - I don't think a big gig will be great for one on one time either and not that in to the artist.. Should I be busy and plan a fun date where I can actually escalate?
Any advice appreciated.
Thank you!
