Because your vibe is probably off. You may not not be enthusiastic enough when interacting with them. Maybe your tone is too serious and formal. Maybe you don’t assume familiarity right away and instead treat them like an stranger.

I get really shy and avoidant when I like someone. I do echo the other comment about how we can mirror your energy. My crush is a bit stoic and less friendly so I'm more comfortable with the other guys. Most of the time, I just get nervous that I'm going to do something stupid in front of the person I like. It can be many things but maybe you just need to build a relationship with them more.
