Went on a second date yesterday with a woman I approached and dated in April. The first date was brief due to the fact she needed to pick up her brother from his dental surgery that evening, so it was not possible to escalate emotionally and physically to the point of sex. It wasn't the same yesterday due to the fact she needed to work that evening. Nonetheless it was substantial and light-hearted interactions which consisted of me talking to her about medical science (she studies physiology) and its relation to music and the wonders of applied mindfulness. She is of a personality that is relentlessly curious, playful and non-judgmental, which molds neatly into her career driven lifestyle. I really admire how she appreciates the simple things in life such as observing everyday objects and scenery and sleeping. This was especially evident when I noticed her fidgeting around with her paper coffee cup and bending the rim of its lid, which prompted us hold and caress each other's hands. With all the aspects of awareness and presence I have learned from the TNL applied to approaching and meeting women, I found it to be twice or thrice as fun when applied to dating. Especially personality type hers which is an interesting blend of instinct, creativity and intellect. I figured a cafe date would be better this time around, given that we had a slight issue of hearing each other in the bar back a few months. She wasn't so much into PDA, but I did manage to make out with her a few times as we walked through an illuminated, deserted park onto the street where someone was suppose to pick her up for work. Logistics is still an issue for me as far as getting to sex goes and it is probably going to be an issue if we cannot do late evening dates. This could possibly be doable if we dated on her days off or perhaps daytime weekend dates, provided that we are capable of moving away from the CBD.
