I am really enjoying the book "models: attract women through honesty" and I have come to realize that I have been going down the path of the narcissistic man he talks about. I of course do not want this and I can see that it's going to take me time and effort to reverse some of the narcissistic and toxic neediness that I have. But my question here lies more in the realm of whether or not casual sex is okay. I've recently been dumped by someone who'd rather get plowed by pretty much all of her friends from college than to have a monogamous relationship with me. It really sucks a lot. I hate watching her go out without me. I feel jealous like "why am I not able to have sex with whoever I want?" "why am I not good enough for her" "why can't I muster up the courage to talk to other girls while she just fucks whatever she wants?" This experience has made me realize how fake my confidence has been. How fake it was when I courted her and how needy I pretend not to be. I can feel it when women feel my neediness. It's frustrating. I wish I could just turn it on like a switch and just be the man I want to be right now. Faking it no longer interests me. I want to become the model of the modern man he talks about in this book. But does that mean that I have to have a serious relationship with every girl I want? What if right now all I want is to fuck and have a few one nighters? The book seems to suggest that doing this is only me feeding my neediness. I am still upset about my ex. That probably won't stop for another couple of months but why does that mean I have to go celibate until I am a truly confident man?
