I give girls the christian side hug most of the time if they come up looking for a hug.

I'm not experienced in this, but from what I have learned, avoid them. They seem to convey too much an "all in" vibe to me and reminds me of my bp days. I frequently imagine gays and beta guys when I think of guys full-hugging women.

The only "hug" I would do is the one arm hug so its always clear there is room for another girl to get in.

I stopped giving hugs to potential plates. When a girl tries to hug me I just leave my arms at my sides. They usually get frustrated/embarassed and I playfull tease them about it
