First, casual touch on the arm or shoulder during conversation, best when you’ve made her laugh or connected in some other way. Then gauge her reaction.

If she responds positively (it could be subtle), or at least does not withdraw physically or verbally, move to the next step at another conversation high point: another touch on the arm or shoulder, for longer this time, or a touch on the lower back or leg if sitting.

By this point, if she likes you, she should at least be getting more enthusiastic in her speech/behavior and ideally will start touching you in return. Assuming that happens, single out a piece of jewelry she’s wearing, hold it, and ask about / comment on it. Ideally it’s a ring, because if she continues to respond warmly you can move to taking her hand in yours for a moment. Couple that with eye contact and a little smile, then let go.

From there, if she likes you she will be touching you even more. If you’re really, really connecting, you can potentially go for a kiss. Otherwise, just make sure you are positioned next to her (sitting is best) and at some point put your hand on her leg and leave it there. If she doesn’t get awkward, give it a squeeze or a light rub.
