I find a freshman girl in Highschool pretty, and I am a Senior, I see her once in the whole day usually. I have talked to her once, and did it correctly, good eye contact and smile, confidence and humor. I am in the top-notch social circle in all of my HS, but I have a hard time with girls because of my confidence. I was at a party this Friday with all my friends, and I see the girl. She says hi to me like she usually does when she sees me. When she was alone I approached to make my move (tbh she wasn't alone, she was with another freshman but I hijacked the conversation and I was about to take her dancing.) While I was succeeding, my best friend got into a fight so I had to run and help him because he was 3v1. I will see her tommorow after first period and I am planning to ask her for her phone, after I compliment her for something and give her a good not friends hug. Any advice Seddit? How should I proceed? And by the way, I am doing well so far because I honestly don't give a damn if she gives me a chance or not, because I perceive myself as having a higher value than her.
