Approaching?

I consider myself a master of internet/text game but still an amateur at cold approach but this is what I do.

I usually tell them "You looked really interesting and I couldn't resist talking to you" if we didn't make eye contact and she has no idea im even in her area.

Or "I thought you were too beautiful to not come say Hi" if we did have eye conract and she gave me an IOI.

Then I ask a few questions for logistical purposes like if she's from my city and what she does for a living/school schedule. (To see if she's worth the effort) then I'll say I need to get going but I'll ask for a number/instagram and get her to come out to a bar or club with me some other time.

I would say neither. It all depends. What your style is. How you're feeling at the time. What kind of vibe you're feeling from her. There is no fixed rule.

When you are approaching a girl, especially a good looking one, she knows what's up. What I found works for me is just playing with it. She knows that you know. You know that she knows. That kinda thing. It builds up a bit of excitement and humor.
