So yeah, I met a girl off Bumble a few weeks ago. We went to get coffee and chatted for a few hours there. She left for vacation but when she got back she said she'd be interested in meeting up again. I went to her place a few nights ago and we had a good time. Drank wine, had great conversation, cuddled, made out (no sex, she explicitly stated she didn't want to and I'm not going to be pushy when it comes to that), etc. She's very pretty, super sweet, and I'm genuinely into her.

I feel that up to this point I've done a decent job of not appearing needy to her (which is been the downfall of any potential past relationships I could have had - I would get too needy and was afraid to escalate). I'm very picky when it comes to women but now that we have hung out a couple of times, I feel myself really liking this girl and worrying too much about if things will go right. Now I start to worry about the little pointless details. We don't talk a lot outside of hanging out, just share occasional snaps and that's it. But then I even get hung up on that. When we hung out last, she said she was interested in going paintballing sometime. I show up to school 2 days later, and lo and behold, a company is selling super cheap paintball tickets. I snap her about it, she opens it but never responds. And then I get all worried. I know I really shouldn't, but I can feel myself slipping into that needy mindset, and I don't want that to come across at all - she has straight up said that is a turn off for her (in so many words). So fellas, how do you play it cool when things start going well between you and a girl you really like? I don't want to be the guy that has to seek validation of be reminded that she's interested in me throughout the day. I don't want to be sitting and wondering what's up when she doesn't respond to a snap I directed at her. To be fair, I've never had a serious, long relationship with a girl before. I'm trying not to screw this one up. Any advice? :)
