All depends on the situation, this might sound odd but the more rejections you get the better as long as you learn from it! But when you do approach the girl you like be confident! Ask how her nights going etc listen and play off her response. Keep it a short chat, then excuse yourself. Do this right in front of her friends too, even if at first she isn’t that interested her friends will talk you up. She will then start the conversation later when you brush past at the bar
