I'm in the exact same boat except the girl has gone back to her family for a month.

If your girl doesn't respond to your text, then leave it. Communication is a two way street and very back and forth. There'll be times over the month when one of you is busier than the other and messages will get read and left, or read and replied to later. Don't worry about it.

Also, don't be afraid to let a conversation die. Don't keep a convo going for the sake of it. You want to keep things relatively fresh or interesting and having the same kind of convos or talking just for the sake of it is a sure way to kill this.

Occasionally turns thing sexual. Remind her of what she's missing whilst she's away. Flirt a little, send some snaps and make sure when you do meet up in a month's time she's going to jump your bones.

Handle your shit. If you're bored don't tell her. Go out and do something else and enjoy it. Don't make her your whole focus.

Finally, expect the shit tests. Your girl is going to want to know you're still the same guy she said goodbye to a month ago. She's going to shit test you, she's going to throw some shade at you and see how you react over text. Agree and amplify brother. The perfect example was last night, this girl jokingly said she was only seeing me for my dick. My response? Well as you're not getting that for a month we should probably stop talking ;)

We're in a similar position right now. I will explain my situation, what I am doing to help it, and my advice to you.

I started a christmas job and one day I walked into work, saw a girl and immediately approached her.

No hesitation started speaking to her and we were joking and laughing in 60 seconds. We continued working together for a few days, and after I was getting strong IOIs (touching me regularly, finding reasons to be near me, laughing at practically everything I say, etc.) I plucked up the courage and said "Hey name, we should do something after work sometime, what do you think?" She agreed, sounded really excited and started listing days.

Then I got her number and something crazy happened. That same energy that I got in person was not the same on text. She was boring. So I called her randomly one time - and bam, everything back to normal. I texted her again - boring. I saw her at work today - normal.

I'm going to message her again soon, if she's cool then we'll talk - if not, I will call her in a few days and see what happens.

I've figured that some girls just don't like texting. I think this girl is included.

In person and on the phone (call) she's amazing. On text, she's boring.

I recommend that you call this girl and see if it's similar.

Message her tomorrow (christmas), say your christmas message, tell her to have a good day and you will talk later.

Later on, ask if she's busy. If no, call her.

If the call goes well, maybe she's just not a texting type of person. Cut the conversation at a high point so she has good feelings of your phone call.
