Okay, let me start off by saying: I hope you all have had a great Christmas, and hopefully someone can help me with this deppressing situation.

I'm 17M have joined a new school a few months ago, and I just started socialising with everyone since a couple of weeks.

I started flirting and talking with many girls at the same time, and now I'm being seen as a player, instead of a loyal guy. Most girls seemingly got mad at me for hitting on a different girl every once in a while, altho I just did it in a friendly way.

Now, there is a girl that I like. She's in the other class, and she's friends with my friends. I have met her throught text, and have flirted with her this past week.

But since we weren't really that close, I thought it was safe to talk with another girl at the same time. I walked with her at school and everybody saw us; and since then, the original girl seems mad at me, and is acting really cold when I talk with her. Another reason for this, is that I flirted a bit with her very best friend, which made me look like a disloyal person.

Now how do I ease the tensions? I don't have a problem with apologising to her, but we're REALLY not that close. And she doesn't know I like her. I want to add that I'm not a player. I'm like that with everyone (even guys). I just like to talk and have bonds with everyone.

Please help me get out of this situation. I can't see her until the end of the vacations, so it's gonna have to be solved through text.

TL;DR: I met Girl A a week ago, but we're not close and don't know each other very well. So I thought it's OK to flirt with Girl B at the same time and walk with her at school. Now Girl A doesn't trust me and seems like she doesn't want to talk with me anymore. She probably thinks I'll treat her like an object and is acting cold towards me.
