Her preferences.
Things she's struggling with.
Things she enjoys.

Now think about how a gift you can make, could help with something she's struggling with or show that you know her. Something like that doesn't have to be expensive to be memorable. And straight up, someone who doesn't appreciate a well-thought gift, is not someone who deserves you.

Google is going to be your friend here. You can literally Google "how to easily make xyz," or "good gifts for someone who likes xyz," or a combination of the two, and you'll likely get something.
