If you talk to everybody at the gym and she sees you at being social, you have a better chance of getting her number. This might take awhile though. If you make a move now and she says no, keep talking to other girls and guys at the gym and build up that social circle. Abundance mentality!

Sometimes in that kind of situation I find it better to find a girl outside of a place I enjoy frequently. Kind of like hitting on a waitress or a girl that is "forced" to be nice to you while she's at work. Plus, if things go sour it may be awkward to see her again and you might never want to go back to that gym.

Kind of like the expression, "you don't shit where you eat." Just speaking from experience...it may not help that I live in a smaller town. :D

You could try pulling off an Ed Sheeran 'Shape of You' scene.

Walk up to your locker, and make sure she smacks you dead in the nose.
