In high school and the first few years of college (I’m a junior), I liked some girls but they were in relationships or I was too awkward to ask them out.

I am not as shy as I used to be and a lot of these girls broke up with their partners. However, I lost contact with them and I don’t know how could I reconnect with them. I left them alone before because I didn’t want their boyfriends to hunt me down or pay someone to beat me up.

How can I do this?
