If you're in school on spring break and wearing a wedding ring, people are going to be wondered why the fuck you got married so early

My buddies and I are planning on doing that when we travel, for spring break, and for some larger events.

I get what you're probably shooting for here, but think this all the way through.

If you wear a wedding ring, what will that do?

Immediately, girls who won't be involved with a cheater, will be screened out.
You'll attract girls who are manipulative, full of drama, or otherwise full of baggage. The demographic that won't care that you're apparently the "Married Guy Looking to Cheat."
People who find out it's just a gag are going to be split between people who are disgusted at the dishonesty and contrived-ness of it all, and people who, again, won't care because they're dishonest or manipulative people.

Sounds like a way to needlessly complicate your trip and screen out some cool people at the same time.

There are better ways to attract fun people without accidentally screening out a lot of cool, well-adjusted people at the same time.
