Also in the same situation. No idea how to handle it because I think there is mutual attraction but I don't want to make it weird if she doesn't at all. Have had a couple conversations and it feels like they've killed attraction because I have a really hard time flirting at 830 am and I'm sure she's in no mood to deal with it that early either.

If you want to invite someone, don't make it vague. Make it explicit.

Also don't ask if you want.

Tell something like:

Hey let's grab a coffee on (X day like Tuesday) after class, I've got this cool place that I think goes with your personality ( or something about her).
Why do you think so. She will certainly ask
Let's make a bet, let's go and then you tell me if i was right or not. if I'm right you pay if not I will pay.

Try to not to make it as a great deal, just be playful.

See the invite isn't a question its a statement/challenge. Bolder than a meek "please come with meeee"

Just ask, strike a conversation. Say something remotely related to whatever type of date you hope to take her on and if she seems interested, go for it.
