It's also narcissistic. You want women to find you attractive. Do they get a say in the matter? You can't control or will other people's thoughts or feelings. You can present yourself in a way that is genuine and they can decide whether they fancy you their type.

That being said, not all women have a clear idea of what they find attractive. People don't know what they don't know. So if you don't fit the mold, that's fine. Keep doing things that demonstrate that you have things going on in your life. Standing up for things you believe in, being vulnerable, being social and bringing people together will get you far. Don't be stifled, focus on you and bring value to your interactions. If she doesn't find that attractive, then that's really her problem and her choice. And you should choose to really not bother with women who aren't able to receive what you put out into the world.

Say you like white girls usually, but you meet a beautiful asian woman that checks all your boxes, really gets you and most importantly really wants you. Are you going to reject her based on her not being your type? Some will say 'yes', and that's okay, but I'm almost positive most would not. I hope that thought experiment helped.
