Just be calm and cool about it. Approach them about something like a test “you ready for that test” or something nonchalantly then when you see her again get her number then call her a few days later and ask her out.

Many people overthink it but the best and really only way to do it is the simplest way

Talk to her after class and invite her to do something you and your friends are doing later. This is even better if you are hanging out with some other people from the class as well. This is not at all creepy and totally normal. If she comes then flirt with her.

To me, the difference between confidence and desperation is knowing when to bow out.

Approach, ask to grab a drink/food/whatever and if they decline simply carry on with your business.

I used to overthink things and worry that people might start judging me for asking people out, then I literally woke up and realized who gives a fuck? If you're not approaching, someone else is. It isn't desperate if you approach and ask, thinking about it and worrying what others might think about it you know?
