I'll give 3 options and let you choose which works best for you.

Coffee Date: Take her out for coffee, chat for a bit, then after 30min or so you want to go somewhere else so it doesn't get stale (go for a walk if you have nothing planned). Be flirtatious during coffee, but do most physical escalation at the second venue (most of the reason guys think coffee dates are boring is because they spend 4 hours at the coffee shop instead of escalating)
Movie Date: Take her out for a movie, flirt a bit to gauge her interest during the preshow/outside the theatre, then escalate during the movie (arm around her, hand on thigh, then move for a kiss). I generally don't like movie dates because they force you to focus somewhere other than each other, but they are a classic date idea for a reason.
Study Date: Radical idea I know, but you're in college. Plan a weekday to study together on campus, talk and flirt like you would at a coffee shop, then say you're bored of studying about 30min in and walk around campus, escalating and trying for a pull.

I'd suggest doing any of the above on a weekday no matter what, since weekends for college girls are exclusively for getting drunk. Just make sure she's not busy the next day (so she can stay up late ;) ) and that logistics back to your/her place are good.
