I mean I’ve known for a few years now, longer than he has, and in the past she never really used to flirt with me at all cause she was dating one of my closest friends at the time. And I mean I already kinda know she doesn’t :/.

You have all the answers in your post. This is someone projecting power. It's as simple as that. Sure, can you have a one night stand, yeah. That's all you're going to get out of it though. I mean, if that's all you're looking for then go for it. It's a little difficult with your buddy being acted upon the same way, but just talk to him. Most dudes are able to work these things out behind the scenes anyhow. I just don't advise you to get hung up on someone who has a fish in the net and is still casting lures.
