I prefer to meet the girl in person as soon as possible, since it's usually a waste of time messaging back and forth. In the states, I'd try to find something on their profile to use to meet up within the first few messages. E.g. if they mention bubble tea on their profile, I'd send something like "there's a new bubble tea place at ______, I've never checked it out yet, wanna come with me?"

Usually, they'd message me a bit before agreeing to meet up, just to make sure I'm not too weird. In Taipei, I matched ~20 girls and sent to them in Chinese: "I heard Taipei has lots of night markets, I haven't been to one yet, do you want to go to one with me?"

A few of them unmatched me, most of them ignored me, and the ones who responded just wanted me to follow them on Line (btw, why do they want me to follow them?)

I'm assuming Taiwanese girls don't want to meet up with a random person they met online. However, I'm only here for a few days, so I won't be able to message them back and forth and become friends with them.

For those of you who were successful with Tinder in East Asia, what were some strategies you used?

Btw, I'm Asian.
