I live in a European city. Not too big, but neither tiny. People here are a bit snobbish, not smiling much, unless they are with the people they know. Social skills are fading away. I am a normal looking guy, not a creep. A lot of times i approach a girl, or just start a random conversation with a girl, what they do is they answer, but don't connect into the conversation. I try to add couple of more things to talk, but they end up this not open, they just answer and pass. Others, when at a party are in their friend bubble, and don't let someone get there. Funny thing is when i am drunk, i have no problem communicating and approaching, even this groups of girls. But sober, it just doesn't work. Maybe my confidence gives me out? I dont know. What am i doing wrong? How can i improve?
