So I was going hiking with this girl who I really like a few weeks ago, and the hangout was kinda meh. I'd say I blew it for the most part. I gave her an awkward hug after we said goodbye and texted her about a week later to see if she wanted to go again. She said she's visiting family and traveling for work for the next few weeks and that she would hit me up when she can go again, which I take as a rejection. So I basically told her good luck and left it at that. So I see her yesterday by chance at the grocery store. I ignore her completely making sure I'm actually looking away, and she goes out of her way to come up to me and start asking me how I've been and makes sure to say goodbye using my name in a really over the top way. This makes no sense to me. Why wouldn't she just ignore me or avoid me?
