Not necessarily. That just means you fit into the archetype of guys she normally goes for.

That does mean you have an advantage though because it will take a lot less effort to get her to want you.

Type is another term for attractiveness, if you aren’t a girls type she is just saying she isn’t attracted to you.

If a girl says you are her friends type she is saying that she has estimated the two of you are of comparable levels of attractiveness.
