Months? Da fuck?
Ask the chick to come over.
If she does anything other than agree, move on.

Could be a sign or she could just enjoy your company. I met a tall blonde girl first week of university that I hit it off with, I asked for her number so we can hang out the first night. We ended up just hanging out for months, everyday she would text me to see if I wanted to come over. Turns out a lot of hot girls don't have that many friends, especially the non slutty ones.
A month later I was dating one of her friends, that lasted 3+ years. Ask yourself, do you enjoy her company? Only good things could come from having an attractive female friend.
Easiest way to find out is to hang out, involve some alcohol and see where things go.

Is it sexual? Sometimes people just want to be friendly for social reasons; having somebody to talk to. It might be worth thinking about that and just maintaining it as a friendship, if that's where she is.

The problem is I can’t tell if it’s sexual as she is an introvert and not naturally flirtatious.
She is one of those girls where it’s hard to tell

If you can't tell then it isn't.

Depends on how the connection I would say. Just ask her for clear answer if she is into you. You could be someone she really like or just a safe back up after her other. Good luck

Thanks
I don’t want to really bring it up as I’m happy to have a friendship as long it’s not getting too much which it feels like with her initiating a lot.

have you tried asking her what she is looking for?
[–]jdred1 -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link
No mainly because I want to be a friend who keeps some boundaries. This is starting to become difficult with her initiating texts so I’m trying to work out her intentions, if any.

setting boundaries is good but honestly some girls just like to talk. In your original post, you asked if girls initiate with guys they are not interested in romantically. The answer is yes. I do, sometimes I just miss my guy friends and reach out as I genuinely just want to see how they're doing and hope all is well. I would just keep the conversation going if you feel it's right. I don't think you're giving off an impression that you want a romantic relationship just by answering.
Thanks for your reply and answering my question- I find that quite interesting

How often do you reach out when you don’t hear from them??
[–]the_pixel_pixie 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I would say depends on a friend. Either in a few days - week - month. It really depends on who, some I know are more busy than others. I'm also pretty bad at replying after I initiate a conversation.

erm, it's not that I never would. It's just that I'd honestly rather have true solid friends that will always stay in my life. Sometimes past lovers leave your life and it can hurt. But note there is a difference between loving a person and being in love with them. My friends I love them and care about them whole heartedly but that does that mean I am in love with them romantically.. if that makes sense
[–]jdred1 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Not really - ur saying that you would get into a relationship with them even though not interested romantically...?
[–]the_pixel_pixie 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Sorry about the confusion. No I wouldnt get into a relationship with them. some people should just be friends. Also not everyone is looking for a romantic relationship. So this girl might not want a romantic relationship just friendship.
