Go to every dance with the goal of having fun. Why would a girl want to be around someone who doesn't look like they're having fun? They may not even realise it, but more than a hookup, girls ultimately want a good time when they're out dancing.

So really your game should be centred on the question of how do I infect the people, and specifically girls, with the fun that I'm experiencing.

Concretely however asking a girl to dance requires one thing: confidence. There is nothing more lame for a girl than feeling obliged to dance with a guy who doesn't even seem sure whether he wants to dance with her. make eye contact, smile, she smile back? Good, walk up to her and introduce yourself, extend your hand and give a warm smile if thats your thing. Otherwise just look at her with intent, if she obliges, bam. She doesnt reciprocate? No problem you can defuse the awkwardness by keeping your hand stretched out for a couple more heartbeats, then slowly raise it to your face as you examine the palm of your hand as if there was something wrong with it, then high five yourself with the other hand. Its really silly but it shows you dont take yourself to seriously. Continue dancing next to her a bit more and if she seems to be fine with that you can then verbally ask her again, and go forward from there.

Please notice that this is a specific scenario Ive laid out, you need to be playing things by ear. The most important thing however is that you stop thinking about what you should be saying, and start focusing on how youre saying these things. Are you saying them with confidence? Are you being playful?

if you don't want to be rude simply ask "do you want to dance" if you already know she's feeling your vibe just jump behind her and start grinding
