During this duration of the article, many women did not know who I voted for, or what my political beliefs are. For the record, I consider myself an independent. It finally led me to the point where I needed opinions from the fellow reddit people. I never post on here. But I'm always reading articles...

It was dating back to the election of 2016. Yes, we have to get political for a second. During the election timeframe, I had a girlfriend. An attractive one that was unique & always understanding of my beliefs. But I noticed I huge difference in the way she acted towards men. Particularly myself, but also her dad, her brother, & her friends. It was as if everything changed from that moment on. One month passed after the election and we decided to part ways for the better good.

From there on, regardless of a girl knowing my political beliefs, it appeared that girls had changed. They became distant from me, not wanting to talk as frequent, not acting the same way they did before. Meanwhile, I consider myself attractive due to what others say about me. I model, I workout, I work full time, I drive a nice car, pets, family qualities, & I do not treat girls like shit. If this post somehow gets popular, I will post a picture of myself to let the people of Reddit judge.

The year of 2017 was filled with endless bullshit from females. I would go out to parties, bars, libraries, parks, restaurants, anywhere a cute girl may just be. I used funny/cheesy pick up lines, to simply asking for a phone number or snapchat. Different clothing, hairstyles…I would even pretend that I do not drive a nice car because I read that was a turnoff to many college girls because they may believe you’re a self-entitled douchebag. Any way possible to pick up a chick & well, it worked. I would get a girls number and that was the first step. Now I would never text that female immediately. That was always a rule of thumb. But, on occasions, it would be an hour later,(depending on time of day/night) or it would be the next day with a simple, “Hey! it was great meeting you yesterday.” Something nice, nothing creepy. At this point, I would either get ignored, blocked, or shut out at that moment. Who was to know if that girl simply thought I was a creep, had a bf, or was just being kind from the beginning. I would personally prefer a no when I first asked for a line of communication.

Since this was having about a 0% success rate. I decided to continue trying it, but I also hopped on the Tinder bandwagon. The endless swamp of girls ranging from political activists, to underage, to girls wanting to cheat on their bfs, to your occasional transgenders. I matched & spoke with girls from black, to Spanish, to white, to Swedish. You name it, I talked to that race. I wanted a taste of everything! Unfortunately, no matter how funny I was, no matter how kind, It would always end the same way as everyone else. Ignored, ghosted, or let down by a crazy female.

At this point, I consulted my friends. This will clearly be a little biased…But, I simply asked, am I ugly, weird, out of the ordinary? To the response I always received, “NO!” I’m a normal guy who enjoys sports, loves his family, works hard in school & in my career. There was no excuse and answer to this question.

Why were girls not interested?

So, I took a deep look back into the 2016 election. Obviously Donald Trump had won. Whether you like him or not he became our 45th president. But, it was almost as if the females took it as a blow to their feminism. They started to look at every man as a pig. As if we looked at females as sex toys. But, I didn’t. This may have played a role in the viewership of women towards us guys.

It wasn’t just me with these problems. I would have conversations about this with my friends, coworkers, gym members, strangers. They were all experiencing the same thing as I was.

Again, I cannot stress this enough. I treat women with respect, I smell just fine. I exercise, I am attractive. I am a hard worker. I do not obsess or double text with girls. If they aren’t interested, I let it go completely.

What is the real issue? Was it politics, females in general, is it just me, or are men losing their ground thatchy had years prior?
