Text her. It isnt actually bad that you didnt text until the day you scheduled the date (Some PUAs might even say its the right thing to do), but dont wait until October 10th

Could come off as needy though it sounds like this chick is already crazy about you so she will write it off, even though she won't like it.

It's a matter of preference. I would text her on the day the date is set, a few hours before you're supposed to meet.

Don't pressure yourself on this issue, though. You're in a dream position right now so it's not like you can do any wrong for the time being.

You seem to be freaking out a bit. That might actually hurt. Chill out, you're supposed to have fun. Do as you please and see how she acts.
