Bro this is not deep or complicated.

The big picture is that people like certain things (including "types") for their own reasons.

The MUCH more important small picture is that certain types can be more popular over a limited time or limited local for or because it's the in thing "now".

Whatever reasons and you must strike whilst your iron is hot.

Time: Search the artist Titian for example. At one time that was considered the hottest body shape imaginable

Place: At one point in time, and maybe even now, Japanese men were obsessed with necks. Now you can fuck a lot of things but necks are out. (Throats are a different matter but that's another story).

Place again. Even now in Japan, large (natural) tits that would be considered MAGNIFICENT in much of the West are considered bizarre or even disgusting.

In thing "now". Today Idris Elba was declared by some magazine to be the sexiest man. That means a certain unknown percentage of women who are swayed by that sort of thing will now be hunting for Idris Elba-like Black guys. And rest assured, an unknown percentage of women who ARE swayed by that sort of thing.

So through no action of their own, any Idris Elba-like Black guys with or without game or any change in themselves have a good chance of seeing an uptick in "business"

Many times it's pointless or even counter productive to wonder why about MANY things in life.
