A commenter on a recent post about 'how to pull' asked me:
"What makes you want to go out (solo) with the sole intention of having a one-night stand? Do you long for shallow sex more than for a monogamous, trustful, emotional relationship?"
If you've not been practicing pick-up for long, you might think it's all about 'railing dem whores'.
If you've been in The Game for a while, you'll know it's about far more than that...
Here are five of the surprising lessons I learned.
How to have fun without drinking
I run sober nightgame by building social momentum. I learned how to get 'in state' without alcohol. The best lesson I ever learned. It'll probably add years to my life.
How to improve social skills in general
The general principles of game also work in professional and social environments.
Last year, I made the decision to travel the world solo. I wouldn't have had the bravery to do that without the social skills I developed learning pick-up.
How to NOT GIVE A FUCK
If you practice pick-up, your ego is going to take a bashing. You're going to be pushing yourself into socially awkward situations. You're going to fail in public. You're going to girls be rude to you.
This adds up. You become numb to it. You learn that none of these things cause signficant damage. You stop caring what other people think about you. You become socially free. This is the best feeling.
How to make best friends
I'm 31. Most of my friends from school, college and university are well over talking to women in nightclubs. I still love it.
The RSD Inner Circle not only gave me instant access to 'wingmen' all over the world. It also provided me with a new group of best friends?
How could it not?
Most guys who are good at pick-up are also really fun to hang out with. They're usually also into improving themselves intellectually, financially and spiritually.
Plus, there's nothing like an epic double pull to bring two dudes closer together...
How monogamy isn't the only option for happiness
Relationships are great. I'm not knocking them...
However, I was stuck in the narrative that a relationship is the pinnacle of happiness - and being single is for losers.
This narrative keeps people in relationships that don't fulfil them.
Now, I've learned it's possible to be immensely satisfied playing the field.
This means I won't settle for a second-rate relationship.
Instead, I'll (hopefully) choose a woman who's right for me, from a bigger pool than I otherwise would have access to.
In a society where most marriages turn to shit and fail, this is surely crucial.
I've co-launched a Telegram group for men who want to become incredible with women. Hundreds of guys sharing their success stories and getting feedback on their sticking points. A real brotherhood. If you'd like to join the Telegram group, drop me a PM with your Telegram handle.
