You know you're not wrong, to be honest I absolutely hate the idea of going to the movies as a first date. It's fucking stupid, you go on a date to know each other, and at the movies you sit in a dark room in silence for two hours with all your attention on the movie instead of each other. And then afterwards you're all sleepy, lightheaded, groggy, and grouchy from sitting in a dark room watching a bright screen. I only asked her to the movies because while we talked shortly, she mentioned she liked to see the movies with her friends. I sort of panicked and said "hey since you mentioned you like movies want to go see one?" over text.

And there's a great arcade, and a shopping mall outside the theater so there's plenty things to do. I really don't want to see a movie with her, because it gives no time for us to interact. I'm not sure if she agreed to go to the movies with me because she wanted to see the movie, or if she wanted to hang out with me... having a plan B for the evening would definitely not be an issue. Also we can't go to a bar, we're both not 21.

And no, I don't plan to be talking during the movie, absolute hate people who do that haha
