He's obviously very socially mature and verbose and alpha and the center of attention, from girls and also respected by his bros, yet when you engage him in conversation, to your surprise, he's not totally beast alpha mode on his ass, he's actually very friendly seeming, engaged, but it comes from an almost expressionless yet hyped up persona. I've had encounters with these bros through nightlife and parties (i'm in college), and in reviewing some of my past conversations with them in my mind, i realize that some of the things they said were actually a form of social testing, one that i didn't even pick up in the moment. almost a pass/fail system of seeing whether you are all you are projecting yourself as. it feels like a code

i think they test you to see how socially aware you are, and whether they are a bro you could want to kick it with (and i know this is about getting laid, not getting bros, but earning that sort of comradery is important for social success and they also might know ladies, so...?)
