Ignore them.... if you’re a real man then you’ll be pretty unaffected

You need to be comfortable with who you are. Recognize the things you can improve on (weight, style,etc) and work on those but don’t let others dictate your value

use it as motivation, eat healthier and cut bad foods & sugar so your skin looks better, and obviously exercise. only takes 2-3 weeks to start seeing/feeling a difference as long as you commit

If you get those sort of comments you have something to work on. The good news is most guys aren't actively ugly, so perhaps it's time to look at your fashion, weight, skin care, how you smell even. Perhaps post a photo if you're willing.

It's quite wierd for people to actively tell you you're ugly, so it may be other factors.

Even if you have a rough looking face, if you start packing on muscle you become much more attractive overall.
