Background: I am 6' athletic, not ripped though and an introvert with There is an office party which happens once in a year in our company. People are looking forward so that they can get to know girls around in the company. Some are just to drink their ass off.

Party: The party was fairly good, I dance like I do in clubs but DJ was bad was playing whole songs no beats, nothing. Arrived to venue with some friends and they went to get drunk, I know some girls and started dance in their group. After sometime my drunk friends got in the group and started their mad dance and shoo all the girls off as soon as I got to other group same. I went out to loo and came back to just watch the other groups in the venue.

I sat at a place and started with a little experiment. I would held eye contact with girls dancing and would smirk, 80% of the time girl would smile back and 50% of the girls came to be sat nearby and had a small chat. I did not get any numbers but I got to know some new girls and they got to know me. As I thought, seeing me with some girls by my side my drunk friends came me to cock block. Soon the party ended and I had to take one of my drunk friend back.

Conclusion: Good party, drunk friends are major cock blockers, eye contact works most of time.

Questions: Being an introvert I have problem taking to girls so best thing I do is hold eye contact and smirk if I get back IOI I approach, it that good enough?
